Kristin Kain has been active in the printing and publishing market for more than 25 years. She knows both sides - the print production side as well as the print-related IT markets for multi-channel publishing. She has worked for METRO Group as a strategic print buyer for European markets and has implemented IT projects as a former Bertelsmann manager.
In the 1990s, she sold the first generation of industrial digital printers on behalf of IBM at DRUPA and Cebit. As an innovation incubator for digitization, she introduced one of the first multi-channel publishing solutions at Weltbild with webshop, catalog and store integration. At METRO Group, she accompanied the global rollout of catalog software with the connection of the first national subsidiaries. Negotiated print management volumes in various countries for brands such as Shell, Carrefour, METRO Cash& Carry, Media Markt, OBI, real,-, Altavia Group and other players.
