touchpoint textile and the drupa MICROFACTORY, coordinated by the German Institute for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) was supposed to highlight a completely networked and integrated production chain from design to finishing together with industry partners from the exhibitor side. This seamless digital and integrated process is a particularly important milestone for the fashion industry on the way to Industry 4.0.
Planned for 2020 as the most recent special forum with inspiring presentations, guided tours and involvement of ESMA as well as partner from the exhibitor’s side, the content of this forum is now fully integrated into virtual.drupa.
Partners will present insights regarding growth potentials of textile applications and the realted significance and increase of digital printing solutions. Furthermore, they provide an outlook regarding the development of that dedicated forum with view to drupa 2024.
